Hand-carved Sicilian red coral cameo depicting a Bacchant, a three-quarter face of a woman with grapes and vine leaves in her hair.

Pendant mounted in a rich scrollwork frame and floral decorations in partially gilded silver.

Made in Trapani in the early 19th century. The posterior frame late '800 early '900.

Excellent condition commensurate with age.
