A superb 18kt gold pendant in the etruscan revival style with blue and white enamel, with granulation work and twisted ropes.

In the center an extremely fine hand carved three color layer agate cameo representing a maiden facing left.

Rome second half of the 19th century, Papal states and goldsmith hallmark by Antonio Minetti, documented from 1861 to 1869 (see Costantino Bulgari, vol II, page 151, 1980).

Dimension with bale cm 5 x 3 - the cameo cm 3 x 2.

Excellent condition commensurate with age and use , small losses to enamel.
