Exceptional and large early XIXth century 1820/30’s gouache or bodycolor on paper depicting an extensive view of the city of Naples seen from the south, specifically from the Street of the Marinella (little marina) in the Loreto neighborood with the Carmine Fortress in the right foreground, the Strada Nuova running along the sea, the Small Harbour, called the Mandracchio with the “new bridge”, then the Great Harbour with the lighthouse, next the Castel Nuovo, then the Castel dell’Ovo and behind Posillipo.

Within in the contemporary rosewood frame, dimension cm 40 x 60 ca.

Excellent condition commensurate with age.
