Rare museum quality demi parure consisting of a brooch/pendant and earrings, mounted in gold, hand carved from sculpted tortoiseshell.

Neapolitan manufacture of the second half of the 19th century, 1870/80

The superbly hand-carved brooch/pendant with a bacchante face in the center and two profiles of satyrs on the sides, under which urn-shaped pendants are attached, of which the central, a larger one, with a mask.

The earrings are made with a bacchante face, under it a frieze with floral decoration to which two small torchon pendants and a large urn with mask are attached.

Dimensions of the pendant 8.5 x 5 cm - the earrings 7.5 x 3 cm.

Exceptional conditions commensurate with use and age.
