"Italian views" Neoclassical project fan late 18th cent
Very fine fan project page painted in tempera and watercolor on swan or chicken skin depicting in the center a view of an italian cost landscape, probably Naples. On the sides, divided by grotesque decorations, respectively, on the left the depiction of the waterfalls at Tivoli, and on the right that of the waterfalls of Marmore in the Umbria region in central Italy.
