Vases with King Ferdinand II of Bourbon Two Sicilies and consort portraits
A rare pair of porcelain vases of French manufacture decorated in Naples with gold leaf and exquisites miniature portraits of King Ferdinand II of Bourbon Two Sicilies (1810-1859) and the Queen consort Maria Theresa Isabella of Austria (1816-1867). They got married the 9th of January 1837 in at the Augustinian Church in Vienna, he have had a previous wife Maria Cristina di Savoia who had died at childbirth in 1836.
Period 1837/40.
Dimension cm 35 of height.
Excellent conditions commensurate with age, light discoloration of gold in some areas.
