A very rare late 18th to early 19th Century 18ct gold mounted micromosaic demi parure or love token comprising of a cross pendant, earrings and ring.

The cross composed of ten miniature ovals depicting dogs, flowers, a bird, an altar and a butterfly, the matching pendant earrings each with an oval panel of two birds and a birds nest, below another of a bird sitting on a nest, hinged hoop fittings, the ring centred by a carved coral cherubs head beside two foliate roundels to a wire work band.

Earrings stamped M650 the hallmark of Matteo Oldani, jeweller born in Rome in 1778, active from 1814 to 1817 year of his death, the ring with indistinct stamp, all within fitted tooled green leather case.

The box cm 5.5 x 5.5 x 2.7 - the cross cm 3.2x2.2 - the earrings cm 2.8h - the ring size 14 (usa 7 1/2)
