A round tortoiseshell snuff box. Set on top of the cover is a rare subject and very fine micromosaic representing a parrot on a perch.
Most likely attributable to Giacomo Raffaelli or his workshop.
Circa 1790.
Dimensions cm 6 the mosaic and cm 7.5 the box
Very good conditon commensurate with age.
