Very fine fan project page painted in tempera and watercolor on vellum or chicken skin depicting in the center a view of Naples taken by Chiaia, in the foreground a group of characters intent on dancing the tarantella, behind the view of the city. On the sides of the view of Naples, divided by grotesque decorations, respectively, on the left the depiction of the so-called Cave of Posillipo or Virgil between Mergellina and Fuorigrotta, and on the right that of a temple, probably that of Apollo, at Pompeii.

Neapolitan school of the late 18th century.
