Mounted on the hinged cover of a faux tortoiseshell and 18ct gold box.
The micromosaic for the quality is attributable to Gioacchino Barberi (1783-1857) or his workshop, the box continental, not hallmarked, possibly French.
Period 1820’s - Excellent condition commensurate with age.
